How to choose a course

• Start with flight planning: UgCS Basics, then UgCS Area Scan and True Terrain Following for low-altitude sensor surveys. See UgCS training.
• Pick your sensor track: GPR-1, GPR-2 and GPR-3 (GPR training); magnetic data processing (magnetometer training); BATHY-1, BATHY-2, MBES-1 and MBES-2 (bathymetry training); methane leak detection (methane training); plus metal detector, radiometric and side-scan sonar courses.
• Self-study or trainer-led: self-study suits teams who want to work at their own pace; trainer-led courses add an instructor. Integrated-systems training is also listed per day, in Riga or on-site.

How much do the courses cost?

All courses and exams are priced on request. We send a quote with a GST invoice.

Is this DGCA drone pilot training?

No. These are SPH Engineering survey, sensor and software courses. HobiTech does not offer DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate training.

Do I need to own the equipment first?

No, but the courses are most useful alongside a system. See our integrated survey systems.
