What is the trainer-led GPR-2 course?
This is training for users of Integrated Systems/GPR who don't have experience with GPR. It covers how a radar signal travels, what a recorded profile looks like, and which data you can expect from a survey. During the practical part, students are encouraged to move various objects under the GPR antenna and watch how the signal changes.
According to SPH Engineering's product page, the course has 2 parts: an online course that participants complete at their own pace before the live session, and a live video-call session with a trainer via Zoom. It can also be run at the SPH Engineering office. The training lasts up to 4 hours, and the price covers up to 4 students.

What equipment is the course relevant to?
The basics in GPR-2 apply to the radars used in SPH Engineering's drone GPR integrated system. On its GPR technology page, SPH lists Radar Systems Zond Aero radars from 50 MHz up to 1000 MHz. The Zond Aero 1000 reaches about 0.3 to 0.5 m for small objects, the Zond Aero 500 about 1 to 2 m for utilities, and the Zond Aero LF 4 to 30 m or more for deep targets. HobiTech supplies:
