What does MBES-1 cover?
SPH Engineering states that MBES-1 prepares you to run multibeam bathymetric surveys independently and with confidence, from simple lake transects to complex missions along irregular shorelines. It focuses on mission planning, mission execution and data verification. MBES-1 does not cover post-processing in third-party hydrographic software; that is taught in MBES-2 trainer-led.
