Drone Show Software

Hundreds of drones. One click. Zero guesswork.

A complete multi-drone control system for light shows, entertainment and events. Load the animation, check every aircraft, and launch the show in sync with the music.

  • Scales from a 20-drone rehearsal to 1,000+ drone commercial shows
  • Centralised mission control with a preflight summary of every drone
  • Time code sync with music, lighting and pyrotechnics
  • Red button emergency stop, always one press away

Double geofence & hardfence

Two safety boundaries keep every drone inside the approved flight area.

GPS correction redundancy

Multi-layer positioning that switches to a backup if a correction source drops.

Red button

An emergency stop for the whole fleet, built into the control screen.

Time code integration

Locks the show to music, lighting and effects, frame by frame.

One-click launch

After the preflight checks pass, the whole fleet takes off on one command.

Preflight summary

Battery, position and status of every aircraft in one window before take-off.

Real-time safety alerts

Problems surface the moment they happen, not after the show.

Weather built in

METAR reports and forecasts right inside the software.

3D simulation

Rehearse the full show on a 3D map with real elevation before a single drone flies.

Licences

Drone Show Creator

Design the show like an animator, not a programmer.

3D animation software made for drone entertainment. Build scenes in a node-based editor, preview them in real time, and export files the fleet can fly. SPH puts the time saving at up to 70% against traditional 3D animation workflows.

FAQs

Drone show FAQs, answered.

What is Drone Show Software?

SPH Engineering's control system for drone light shows. It plans, simulates and flies a synchronised fleet from one screen, with geofencing, GPS correction redundancy, time code sync and an emergency red button. HobiTech supplies and supports it in India as part of the SPH Engineering range.

Does HobiTech perform drone shows?

No. HobiTech doesn't run or book drone shows. We supply SPH Engineering's Drone Show Software, Drone Show Creator and training to the show companies and operators who fly them.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. DSS Lite is a free licence for up to 20 drones, built for newcomers, small teams and education. Drone Show Creator has a 14-day free trial.

How many drones do I need for a show?

It depends on the venue, the audience and what you want to draw. You can learn and rehearse on up to 20 drones with Lite; commercial shows usually run hundreds. Your connected drone count decides the licence size.

Which drones does it work with?

40+ show drone platforms, including Cross Stars, Damoda, Drotek, EVsky, Firefly, Flyfire, High Great, KAIKENS, Lumenier, Uvify, Verge Aero, Vimdrones and WG drones.

Do I need Blender or 3D skills to design a show?

No. Drone Show Creator is a standalone Windows app with a drag-and-drop, node-based editor. It can import .blend, .fbx and .obj models if you already have them.

What does it cost in India?

It depends on the licence, the fleet size and any training, so we quote it. Quotes are in rupees with a GST invoice.

What support do I get?

Every licence purchase includes support and updates for the first year. From year two, an annual support pack keeps support and updates running; without it the software keeps working, but without updates.

Do my pilots need certification?

SPH certifies drone show teams after its training; many countries require a training certificate to fly a swarm. In India, each drone also needs a UIN on DGCA's eGCA portal, and the venue's airspace zone decides which permissions apply.
