The SkyHub software package for MBES adds support for SPH Engineering's EchoNIMBUS-MBES multibeam echo sounder to the SkyHub on-board computer. It is for drone bathymetry teams. HobiTech supplies it in India as an Official Partner of SPH Engineering.

What is the SkyHub MBES package used for?
It lets SkyHub log data from the EchoNIMBUS-MBES multibeam echo sounder. The SkyHub user manual lists the EchoNIMBUS-MBES, with the Cerulean Surveyor 240-16 sensor, as supported over Ethernet, with data logging and power from SkyHub. SkyHub release notes add in-flight configuration of Cerulean MBES and geotagging with MBES head coordinates.

Do I need a licence file for SkyHub?
Yes. From SkyHub firmware v4.1.0, SkyHub functions need a licence. The licence file is named after your SkyHub serial number (License-******.lic) and is uploaded in UgCS-CPM under Tools > License management, over an Auxiliary connection.
