What is the SkyHub universal driver used for?
The SkyHub user manual lists a Simple Universal module, which is switched on in the SkyHub configuration. SPH Engineering offers this package alongside its gamma-ray spectrometer range. SPH supplies the Medusa Radiometrics MS-350 with a power cable and a GPS cable for SkyHub, and notes that other components and software must be ordered to fly a gamma-ray spectrometer.

Yes. From SkyHub firmware v4.1.0, SkyHub functions need a licence. The licence file is named after your SkyHub serial number (License-******.lic) and is uploaded in UgCS-CPM under Tools > License management, over an Auxiliary connection.
