What are the SkyHub mountings used for?
SkyHub is SPH Engineering's drone on-board computer. It sits between the flight controller and the payload, logs sensor data and geotags it. It is used with ground penetrating radar, magnetometers, echo sounders, methane detectors, metal detectors and more. SkyHub has to ride on the drone, and these mountings hold it on the landing-gear legs of the DJI M300 RTK or M350 RTK.
The mountings are CNC-machined plastic. SPH Engineering states they also suit drones with the same leg diameter, and names the InspiredFlight IF800 as an example.
Do I need to buy them separately?
Usually not for a first system. SPH Engineering ships the SkyHub on-board computer with mountings and cables for the DJI M300/M350 RTK by default. Order this set separately when you need a spare or replacement set, or a second set for another M300/M350 RTK or IF800 in your fleet. For the DJI M400, SPH sells a separate SkyHub 3 smart cable assembly for the M400.
Which altimeter mount do I need for True Terrain Following?
If you also fly True Terrain Following (TTF) on the M300/M350 RTK, the altimeter needs a mount too. TTF keeps the drone at a steady height above the ground or water from live altimeter readings. SPH states it works as low as 0.5 m above ground. Pick the mount that matches your altimeter:

All three mounts are made for the DJI M300 RTK and M350 RTK. Each one fits only the altimeter named on it, so match the mount to the altimeter you fly.
What makes up a full SkyHub TTF setup?
- SkyHub on-board computer: SPH Engineering ships it with mountings and cables for the DJI M300/M350 RTK by default.
- SkyHub True Terrain Following package: the software that holds height from live altimeter readings.
- An altimeter: the Ainstein US-D1 radar, the Nanoradar NRA24 radar or the LightWare SF30/D laser. The SkyHub user manual lists all three with a UART interface, powered from SkyHub.
- A mount for that altimeter, from the table above.
- UgCS: the SkyHub user manual asks for UgCS 5.3.0 or higher, for example UgCS EXPERT.
