The SkyHub 3 smart cable assembly connects SPH Engineering's SkyHub 3rd generation onboard computer to the DJI M400 through DJI's native PSDK cable. It is for survey teams moving a SkyHub payload to the M400. HobiTech supplies it in India.

What is the SkyHub 3 smart cable assembly for DJI M400 used for?
SkyHub is SPH Engineering's drone onboard computer. It sits between the flight controller and the payload, powers the sensor, and logs its readings with position and time. On DJI Enterprise drones it talks to the aircraft through DJI's Payload SDK (PSDK) and takes 12–60 V from the drone battery, according to SPH.
This assembly is the link between SkyHub 3 and the DJI M400. On the SkyHub side it has two connectors: an XT30 socket for power and a USB connector for data. On the drone side it uses DJI's native PSDK cable. The mounting bracket has built-in LED indicators, so you can check the link on the ground before take-off.
Why does the M400 need its own cable?
SPH ships SkyHub with mountings and cables for the DJI M300/M350 RTK by default. The M400 uses a different drone-side connection, so SPH sells this smart cable assembly for it. The SkyHub hardware page confirms that mounts and cables for other drone types are available on request. If you are ordering a new SkyHub system for an M400, tell us at the quote stage so the right cable is included.
