The SkyHub 3 smart cable assembly connects SPH Engineering's SkyHub 3rd generation onboard computer to DJI M300 RTK and M350 RTK drones through DJI's SDK round ribbon cable. It is for survey teams flying SkyHub payloads. HobiTech supplies it in India.

What is the SkyHub 3 cable for DJI M300/M350 RTK used for?
SkyHub is SPH Engineering's drone onboard computer. It powers the sensor, logs every reading with position and time, and runs True Terrain Following. On DJI Enterprise drones it links to the aircraft through DJI's Payload SDK and takes 12–60 V from the drone battery, according to SPH.
This assembly carries power and data between the M300 RTK or M350 RTK and SkyHub 3. On the SkyHub side it has an XT30 socket for power and a Switchcraft W16982-7SG-P-518 connector for signal. On the drone side it uses DJI's native SDK round ribbon cable.
What do the LED indicators mean?
The mounting bracket has status LEDs. The SkyHub user manual explains them:
- LED1 lights up when power is coming from the drone.
- LED2 blinks when there is communication from the drone.
- LED3 blinks when there is communication from SkyHub.
This lets you check power and the data link on the ground before take-off.
Do I need to buy this cable separately?
SPH ships SkyHub with mountings and cables for the DJI M300/M350 RTK by default. You need this separate listing when you want a spare, or when your SkyHub was supplied for another drone and you are moving it to an M300 or M350 RTK. The matching SkyHub mountings for DJI M300/M350 RTK are also sold separately.
