Runs the Medusa MS-350 gamma-ray spectrometer for up to 8 hours on foot. This optional Medusa Radiometrics battery handle turns the 2.7 kg MS-350 into a handheld survey system, takes power over a standard MDC-505 USB cable, and comes off by removing its M4 screws when you want to fly the detector instead. What is the MS-350 handle used for?
The handle holds the batteries that power the detector, so you can carry the MS-350 on foot for a whole survey. Medusa says it holds two, three or four batteries, depending on the detector. For longer surveys, any power bank can act as backup through the USB connection.
