| SkyHub 3 fixed outputs on communication connectors | +5 V and +12 V |
What is the Laser Falcon power cable used for?
Pergam states that powering the Laser Falcon through its external power connector allows continuous operation. SPH Engineering's SkyHub manual lists the Laser Falcon as a sensor that SkyHub can power. This cable takes power from SkyHub to the detector, so it runs from the drone's supply during the flight.
What it works with
- Detector: the Pergam Laser Falcon methane detector. It detects methane at up to 100 m and measures once per second.
- Onboard computer: SkyHub, which logs Laser Falcon readings in geotagged CSV and LOG form.
- Software: the SkyHub software package for Methane detector, which supports the Laser Falcon, plus UgCS to stream readings to your laptop in real time.
- Mounting: Laser Falcon mountings for DJI drones.
