What do you need to run it?
SPH Engineering states that the package requires SkyHub and a UgCS licence. A complete system usually has:
- SkyHub on-board computer hardware. It takes 12–60 V from the drone battery and ships with DJI M300/M350 RTK mountings and cables by default.
- For the DJI M400, the SkyHub 3 smart cable assembly for DJI M400.
- A supported Laser Falcon or LMC methane detector and a mount for your drone.
- A UgCS licence, such as UgCS EXPERT. The SkyHub user manual lists UgCS 5.3.0 or higher and UgCS Custom Payload Monitor 4.1.0.
How does a SkyHub methane survey work?
You plan the flight lines over the pipeline route, landfill or site in UgCS, then fly the drone with the detector and SkyHub on board. SkyHub logs each methane reading with the drone's position and time, and stores the data on board for processing after landing. Which drones can carry a SkyHub methane system?
