What is the echosounder hi-speed fairing used for?
In SPH Engineering's drone bathymetry system the echo sounder hangs below the drone on a cable, so it sits in the water while the drone flies above. The cable is protected by a plastic sleeve, which also carries the weight of the echo sounder and its housing. The hi-speed fairing is an accessory for this suspended echo sounder. SPH Engineering does not publish dimensions or weights for it, so ask HobiTech before you order.
