What is the FluX Ammonia Core Sensor used for?
SensorX builds the FluX Aero module for drone-mounted gas detection surveys. It is widely used for greenhouse gas monitoring and safety monitoring campaigns. FluX Aero is available for the major gases, including methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2) and ammonia (NH3). This core sensor is the ammonia version.
What it works with
- The SkyHub onboard computer manages the flight, logs FluX measurements in geotagged form and sends live sensor data to the ground. An RTK/PPK receiver on the drone gives centimetre-level coordinates.
- UgCS and Payload Monitor for mission planning and control; gas concentration values can be viewed on your laptop in real time.
- DroneGIS for reports and maps, in cloud and on-premise versions.
- A supported drone such as the DJI M350 RTK.
- For the methane version, see the FluX Aero Methane Sniffer.
Why buy the FluX Ammonia Core Sensor from HobiTech?
HobiTech is an Official Partner of SPH Engineering based in Bengaluru, India. Every order comes with a GST invoice, and our local team supports the sensor, the drone and the software.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which gases can FluX Aero measure?
SensorX offers FluX Aero for the major gases, such as methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2) and ammonia (NH3). This page covers the ammonia core sensor.
Which drones can carry FluX Aero?
SensorX designed it as a payload for many commercial drones, such as the DJI M300, DJI M350, Inspired Flight IF1200A, Harris Aerial H6 and Wispr Ranger Pro.
