What is the universal mount for heavy payloads used for?
Some survey payloads hang below the drone on a rope or cable instead of sitting on a gimbal port. An echo sounder, for example, must sit in the water while the drone flies above. SPH Engineering describes its universal mounts for heavy payloads as mounts "for payloads on ropes/cables: echo sounders, water samplers, etc." This version is for the Inspired Flight IF1200.
What it works with
- An Inspired Flight IF1200 drone. SPH Engineering lists the IF1200A among the drones its integrated systems support.
