How to choose a DJI Matrice drone
- Built-in cameras or swappable payloads: the DJI Matrice 4E and DJI Matrice 4T fly out of the box with integrated cameras; the Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 400 are platforms for Zenmuse and certified third-party payloads.
- Mapping or inspection: the 4E has a 20 MP 4/3 mechanical-shutter camera for survey and mapping; the 4T adds a 640×512 thermal camera for power-line, industrial and public-safety work.
- Payload weight: DJI rates the M350 RTK at 2.7 kg and the DJI Matrice 400 at 6 kg, so heavy LiDAR or multi-sensor rigs point to the M400.
- Endurance: up to 49 min (Matrice 4E), 55 min (M350 RTK) and 59 min (M400), per DJI.
- Rules: none of these are nano drones. Register each on Digital Sky and fly with a Remote Pilot Certificate holder.

How does the quote process work?
Tell us the application, site and sensor you need. Our team contacts you shortly during working hours (10:00 AM–7:00 PM, every day) with a configured quote for the airframe, payload, batteries and support.
Is the listed price final?
The listed price is the base kit before 18% GST. Payload, extra batteries and the support plan change the total, so we confirm it in your quote. A GST tax invoice is raised against your GSTIN.
Do I need a licence to fly a Matrice?
Yes. Matrice drones must be registered on Digital Sky and flown by a pilot holding a Remote Pilot Certificate from a DGCA-authorised training organisation.
What warranty do I get?
Every DJI drone carries a 1-year warranty from HobiTech itself. Remote controllers are accessories and are not covered.
Do you offer training?
We provide SPH Engineering survey training, including UgCS flight planning, GPR and magnetometer courses. See training and certification. We do not run DGCA pilot training.
