What does the assembly and testing service cover?
SPH Engineering's Integrated Systems combine several products from different makers. A typical system has a drone, UgCS flight-planning software, the SkyHub onboard computer, the True Terrain Following system and a sensor such as a GPR, magnetometer, echo sounder or methane detector. SPH notes that setting up such a system for the first time using only the manufacturers' manuals for the drone, the sensor and the various software can be rigorous.
This service covers the initial configuration and testing of the integrated system, so you can start surveying sooner. SPH describes it as up to 8 hours of service delivered by a qualified SPH Engineering expert:
- Initial setup: usually takes up to 4 hours, depending on how complex the system is.
- First missions: 4 hours are reserved for additional support during the customer's first missions.
