The UgCS additional device licence adds one more activation to an existing UgCS PRO, EXPERT or ENTERPRISE perpetual licence, so you can use it on a second computer. It is for pilots who plan in the office and fly from a field laptop. HobiTech supplies it in India.
A UgCS perpetual licence is sold per user. If the same person plans missions on an office desktop and flies them from a field laptop, this add-on is the lower-cost alternative to buying a second full licence. Choose the option that matches the perpetual licence you already hold: PRO, EXPERT or ENTERPRISE.

What does the additional device licence do?
SPH Engineering describes it as giving your licence code an additional activation, so the same UgCS perpetual licence can be used on 1 more device. After purchase, SPH Engineering increases the activation count on your existing licence code; you keep the same code.
- Applies to: perpetual licences only, not monthly or yearly subscriptions.
- Tiers: 3 versions, one each for UgCS PRO, UgCS EXPERT and UgCS ENTERPRISE.
- Limit: it can be bought only once for each licence.
- Flight plans: SPH Engineering notes that flight plans do not sync between the 2 devices.
- Support and updates: an Annual Support & Update pack, from the second year, is needed to keep getting support and the latest updates.

The second device must meet the normal UgCS system requirements: Windows 7 SP1 or later / Windows 8 / Windows 10 (64-bit), macOS 10.9 or later (64-bit) or Ubuntu 18.04 (64-bit); a 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo or Athlon X2; 4 GB RAM recommended; DirectX 9; 2 GB free disk space; and a 1024 × 768 screen.
