What does the LiDAR360 Framework do?
SPH Engineering describes the Framework as the foundation of the whole LiDAR360 suite. It brings TB-level processing power and the tools you need to work with LiDAR point clouds:
- Data management: handle large, TB-level point-cloud projects.
- Automatic strip alignment: align overlapping flight strips.
- Point-cloud classification: sort points into classes for later products.

Which LiDAR360 modules can you add?
The Framework is required first. Application modules are then added to it:

Good processing starts with a good flight. What does a typical LiDAR360 workflow look like?
- Capture: fly the LiDAR survey with a mission planned in UgCS, including IMU calibration legs.
- Load and manage: bring the point clouds into the Framework, which handles TB-level data.
- Align: run automatic strip alignment on the overlapping flight lines.
- Classify: classify the point cloud.
- Produce: add modules for the output you need, for example Terrain for DSM, DTM, DEM and contours, or Forestry for individual-tree data.
