What does the LiDAR360 Forestry module do?
SPH Engineering describes it as generating geospatial products from mobile, terrestrial, UAV or airborne systems that meet the needs of foresters. One licence unlocks 2 modules:

What do you need to run it?
- LiDAR360 Framework: required base licence.
- LiDAR360 Terrain: GreenValley does not include terrain functions in Forestry. Tools such as CHM segmentation, ALS point-cloud segmentation and Normalize by DEM need the Terrain module, bought separately.

What does a typical forestry workflow look like?
- Capture: fly UAV LiDAR over the stand with a UgCS mission, or scan it from the ground with a terrestrial scanner.
- Prepare: load and align the data in the LiDAR360 Framework and classify the point cloud.
- Normalise: use the Terrain module to classify ground points and normalise heights by DEM.
- Segment: run individual tree segmentation in ALS Forest or TLS Forest.
- Report: extract statistical parameters and tree attributes, run regression analysis and batch reports on trees and stand volume.
LiDAR360 modules are software licences, so there is no hardware to ship.
