Sub-250g · 52-min flight time

The DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus is the DJI Lito X1 camera drone with three Intelligent Flight Battery Plus packs, a Charging Hub, a shoulder bag and the DJI RC 2 remote controller with its own 5.5-inch screen. The Battery Plus extends flight time to up to 52 minutes per battery, per DJI, the longest of any Lito X1 kit. The Lito X1 has a 1/1.3-inch 48 MP sensor, 4K/60fps HDR video, omnidirectional obstacle sensing with forward-facing LiDAR and 42 GB of built-in storage. With the Battery Plus fitted it weighs about 340 g, per DJI, so in India it is a micro drone, not a nano drone. Sold by HobiTech, a genuine DJI dealer in Bengaluru, with a GST invoice and HobiTech's own 1-year warranty on the drone.

Key features

  • Up to 52 minutes per battery: three Intelligent Flight Battery Plus packs, so up to about 156 minutes of flying per outing, per DJI's rating.

  • More room to grade: HDR video with up to 14 stops of dynamic range, and 10-bit D-Log M, per DJI.
  • Obstacle sensing plus LiDAR: omnidirectional obstacle sensing that DJI rates down to 5 lux, with forward-facing LiDAR on top.
  • 42 GB built in: internal storage, so you can start recording without buying a memory card.
  • Up to 15 km transmission: DJI O4 video transmission with 10-bit live view, per DJI.

Max flight time Up to 52 min Up to 36 min
Capacity 4680 mAh 2788 mAh
Max flight distance 32 km 21 km
Drone takeoff weight Approx. 340 g Approx. 249 g

India weight class Micro (over 250 g) Nano (250 g or less)

All figures per DJI. The Battery Plus gives you about 16 more minutes per flight, but the heavier drone falls into India's micro category, which has extra requirements (see below). If you want to stay in the nano class, choose the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) with standard batteries.

Which DJI Lito X1 kit is right for you?

HobiTech sells four Lito X1 kits. The drone is the same in all four; the controller and batteries change.

  • DJI Lito X1 (standard kit): ₹67,990 plus GST. One standard battery and the DJI RC-N3 (uses your phone). Nano class.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N3): ₹71,990 plus GST. Three standard batteries, Charging Hub and bag, with the DJI RC-N3. Nano class.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2): ₹88,990 plus GST. Three standard batteries, Charging Hub and bag, with the DJI RC 2 screen controller. Nano class.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus, this page: ₹94,990 plus GST. Three Battery Plus packs, Charging Hub and bag, with the DJI RC 2. Micro class with the Battery Plus.

Choose the Combo Plus if the longest flights matter most and you are happy to register and insure a micro drone. For nano-class flying with the same screen controller, the RC 2 combo costs ₹6,000 less.

Who the Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus is for

  • Travel and landscape shooters who want the longest possible flights from a small drone
  • Creators who want a larger sensor, HDR video and 10-bit D-Log M, with time to set up each shot
  • Pilots who want obstacle sensing in every direction, with LiDAR at the front
  • Anyone who wants a controller with its own screen and a complete kit in one bag

Choose something else if you want to stay in India's nano class (the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) or the RC-N3 combo), or you want propeller guards for filming people up close (the DJI Flip Fly More Combo).

Is it legal to fly in India?

Yes, with the right paperwork. With the Battery Plus in this kit, the DJI Lito X1 weighs about 340 g (per DJI), so under India's Drone Rules, 2021 it is a micro drone (more than 250 g, up to 2 kg), not a nano drone:

  • You must register it on the DGCA eGCA portal and get a Unique Identification Number (UIN) before flying.
  • No Remote Pilot Certificate is needed for non-commercial use of a micro drone. For commercial work, you need one.
  • Third-party insurance is required for drones heavier than the nano class.
  • Before each flight, check the Digital Sky airspace map for green, yellow and red zones.

With a standard Intelligent Flight Battery (sold separately), DJI rates the drone at about 249 g, the nano class. Rules can change, so check DGCA's eGCA portal and the airspace map before you fly.

Flying tips for the DJI Lito X1

HobiTech's tips for your first flights (general good practice; always follow the DJI user manual):

  • Charge all three the night before. Put the batteries in the Charging Hub and charge the DJI RC 2 too, so everything is full when you head out.
  • Rotate your batteries. Use all three in turn rather than always flying the same one first, so they wear evenly.
  • Check storage before a long shoot. The Lito X1 has 42 GB built in, so check the free space in DJI Fly before you head out, especially if you plan to shoot 4K/100fps.
  • Update and calibrate in DJI Fly. Update the drone and controller firmware at home, and calibrate the compass if the app asks.
  • Wait for a strong GPS signal. Check the signal in DJI Fly before take-off, so Return to Home knows where to come back to.
  • Keep obstacle sensing on, but do not rely on it. DJI rates it down to 5 lux, and the forward-facing LiDAR helps in low light, but at dusk still fly slowly and keep the drone in sight.
  • Check the wind. DJI rates wind resistance up to 10.7 m/s. On gusty days, stay low and close, and land early.
  • Register and insure before you fly. With the Battery Plus this is a micro drone, so get the UIN on DGCA's eGCA portal and arrange third-party insurance before your first outdoor flight, and check the airspace map every time you fly somewhere new.
  • Land with charge to spare. Plan to be back and landed well before the battery runs low. Return to Home needs power to fly back, especially into a headwind.
  • Check the propellers every time. Replace any propeller that is chipped, bent or cracked. Three spare pairs come in the box.
  • Let batteries cool before charging. After a flight, wait until the battery is no longer warm before you put it in the hub, and avoid leaving batteries in a hot car.
