The DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) is the DJI Lito X1 camera drone with three Intelligent Flight Batteries, a Charging Hub, a shoulder bag and the DJI RC 2 remote controller, which has its own 5.5-inch FHD screen, so you do not need your phone to fly. The Lito X1 has a 1/1.3-inch 48 MP sensor, 4K/60fps HDR video, omnidirectional obstacle sensing with forward-facing LiDAR, 42 GB of built-in storage and up to 36 minutes of flight per battery, and weighs under 249 g, per DJI. It suits beginners, travellers and creators who want top image quality, safe flying and a ready-to-fly screen controller. Sold by HobiTech, a genuine DJI dealer in Bengaluru, with a GST invoice and HobiTech's own 1-year warranty on the drone.

Key features

  • DJI RC 2 with a built-in screen: a 5.5-inch 1920×1080 FHD screen with 700 nits brightness, per DJI, so your phone stays free.
  • Three batteries, up to 36 minutes each: three standard Intelligent Flight Batteries, so up to about 108 minutes of flying per outing, per DJI's rating.
  • Charging Hub and shoulder bag: charge the batteries in one hub and carry the whole kit in one bag.

What's in the box

Per DJI's official store listing for the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2):

  • DJI Lito X1 × 1
  • DJI RC 2 Remote Controller × 1
  • DJI Lito X1 Intelligent Flight Battery × 3

  • DJI Lito X1 Shoulder Bag × 1
  • DJI Lito X1 Gimbal Protector × 1
  • DJI Mini 3/Lito Series Spare Propellers (pair) × 3
  • Screwdriver × 1

The batteries in this combo are the standard Intelligent Flight Batteries, not the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. A charger is not in the box. No memory card is needed, because the drone has 42 GB built in.

Why the DJI RC 2 matters

The cheaper Lito X1 kits use the DJI RC-N3, which holds your phone as the screen. The DJI RC 2 in this combo has its own 5.5-inch FHD screen with 700 nits brightness and DJI O4 transmission, per DJI. You power on and fly, with no app to open on your phone, no cables to plug in and no calls or notifications interrupting the flight, and your phone battery stays free for the rest of the day.

Which DJI Lito X1 kit is right for you?

HobiTech sells four Lito X1 kits. The drone is the same in all four; the controller and batteries change.

  • DJI Lito X1 (standard kit): ₹67,990 plus GST. One battery and the DJI RC-N3 (uses your phone). No hub or bag.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N3): ₹71,990 plus GST. Three standard batteries, Charging Hub and shoulder bag, with the DJI RC-N3.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2), this page: ₹88,990 plus GST. The same batteries, hub and bag, with the DJI RC 2 screen controller.
  • DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus: ₹94,990 plus GST. The DJI RC 2 with three Intelligent Flight Battery Plus packs, which DJI rates at up to 52 minutes each. DJI notes that with the Plus battery the drone weighs more than 249 g.

Choose this combo if you want a controller with its own screen and the standard batteries that keep the drone under 249 g. If you are happy to use your phone as the screen, the RC-N3 combo saves ₹17,000.

DJI Lito X1 or DJI Flip?

Both have a 1/1.3-inch 48 MP sensor at f/1.7 and 4K/60fps HDR, weigh under 249 g, and come in a Fly More Combo with the DJI RC 2, three batteries, a hub and a bag. Compared with the DJI Flip Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2), the Lito X1 adds:

  • Omnidirectional obstacle sensing with forward-facing LiDAR (the Flip has forward infrared and downward sensing only).
  • 42 GB of internal storage (the Flip has 2 GB).
  • Up to 36 minutes per battery (the Flip flies up to 31).

The Flip adds a full-coverage propeller guard and palm takeoff, for filming people up close. The DJI Flip Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) is ₹87,990 plus GST; this Lito X1 combo is ₹88,990 plus GST. If you fly around trees and buildings, the Lito X1's sensing is worth more. If you mostly film yourself and friends up close, choose the Flip.

DJI Lito X1 or DJI Mini 4 Pro?

Both have a 1/1.3-inch 48 MP sensor, omnidirectional obstacle sensing and 10-bit D-Log M. The DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) records 4K at up to 100fps and flies up to 34 minutes, for ₹94,990 plus GST. The Lito X1 adds forward-facing LiDAR, 42 GB of built-in storage and up to 36 minutes per battery, for ₹6,000 less.

Who the Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) is for

  • First-time pilots who want obstacle sensing in every direction, with LiDAR at the front
  • Anyone who wants a controller with its own screen instead of using their phone
  • Travellers who want three batteries, a hub and a bag in one kit, and no memory cards to carry
  • Creators who want a larger sensor, HDR video and 10-bit D-Log M for colour grading
  • Anyone who wants to fly in India without a Remote Pilot Certificate

Choose something else if you are happy to use your phone as the screen (the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N3)), you want the longest flight time and accept a heavier drone (the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus), or you want propeller guards for filming people up close (the DJI Flip Fly More Combo).

Is it legal to fly in India?

Yes. At under 249 g with the standard battery (per DJI), the DJI Lito X1 is a nano drone (250 g or less) under India's Drone Rules, 2021:

  • No Remote Pilot Certificate is needed to fly a nano drone (Rule 36).
  • You must register it on the DGCA eGCA portal and get a Unique Identification Number (UIN) before flying (Rule 14).
  • Before each flight, check the Digital Sky airspace map for green, yellow and red zones.

This combo uses the standard batteries. If you later buy the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, DJI notes the drone then weighs more than 249 g, so check its category under the Drone Rules before flying with it.

Flying tips for the DJI Lito X1

HobiTech's tips for your first flights (general good practice; always follow the DJI user manual):

  • Charge all three the night before. Put the batteries in the Charging Hub and charge the DJI RC 2 too, so everything is full when you head out.
  • Rotate your batteries. Use all three in turn rather than always flying the same one first, so they wear evenly.
  • Check storage before a long shoot. The Lito X1 has 42 GB built in, so check the free space in DJI Fly before you head out, especially if you plan to shoot 4K/100fps.
  • Update and calibrate in DJI Fly. Update the drone and controller firmware at home, and calibrate the compass if the app asks.
  • Wait for a strong GPS signal. Check the signal in DJI Fly before take-off, so Return to Home knows where to come back to.
  • Keep obstacle sensing on, but do not rely on it. DJI rates it down to 5 lux, and the forward-facing LiDAR helps in low light, but at dusk still fly slowly and keep the drone in sight.
  • Check the wind. DJI rates wind resistance up to 10.7 m/s. On gusty days, stay low and close, and land early.
  • Register before you fly. Get the UIN on DGCA's eGCA portal before your first outdoor flight, and check the airspace map every time you fly somewhere new.
  • Land with charge to spare. Plan to be back and landed well before the battery runs low. Return to Home needs power to fly back, especially into a headwind.
  • Check the propellers every time. Replace any propeller that is chipped, bent or cracked. Three spare pairs come in the box.
  • Let batteries cool before charging. After a flight, wait until the battery is no longer warm before you put it in the hub, and avoid leaving batteries in a hot car.
