The DJI Agras T70P is DJI's agricultural drone for spraying, spreading and lifting, positioned below the flagship Agras T100. Per DJI, it carries a 70 L spray tank with a 70 kg operating payload, sprays at up to 30 L/min with the standard 2 nozzles (40 L/min with the optional 4), spreads from a 100 L tank at up to 400 kg/min, lifts up to 65 kg, and senses obstacles with front and rear millimetre-wave radar and a tri-eye vision system. HobiTech supplies it on request: price, configuration, batteries, charging and lead time are confirmed with your quote. With a maximum takeoff weight of up to 130 kg (per DJI), it sits in India's medium drone category. Sold by HobiTech, a genuine DJI dealer in Bengaluru, with a GST invoice and HobiTech's own 1-year warranty on the drone.

Who the Agras T70P is for
- Drone spraying service providers moving up from smaller sprayers
- Farms and plantations that spray and spread across the season
- Farmer producer organisations and agri-service centres running shared equipment
- Operators who want a lighter drone than the T100, with spreading and lifting options
Is it legal to fly in India?
Yes, with the right approvals. With a maximum takeoff weight of up to 130 kg (per DJI), the Agras T70P falls in the medium drone category (more than 25 kg, up to 150 kg) under India's Drone Rules, 2021:
- You must register it on the DGCA eGCA portal and get a Unique Identification Number (UIN) before flying.
- The pilot needs a Remote Pilot Certificate for the drone's category.
- Third-party insurance is required.
- Pesticide spraying must follow the Government of India's standard operating procedure for drone application of pesticides, using products approved for drone use.
- Before each flight, check the Digital Sky airspace map for green, yellow and red zones.
Rules for agricultural drones are updated from time to time, so check the current requirements with us or on DGCA's eGCA portal before you fly.
Field tips for the Agras T70P
HobiTech's tips for spraying teams (general good practice; always follow the DJI user manual, the pesticide label and the government SOP):
- Respect the wind limit. DJI rates wind resistance below 6 m/s, and drift rises quickly in wind.
- Fly in the cooler hours. DJI rates operation from 0 °C to 40 °C; early morning also reduces evaporation and drift.
- Choose the battery for the job. The DB2160 raises the maximum takeoff weight for spraying, per DJI.
- Calibrate flow before each season. Check the actual flow rate and spray width against your dose rate.
- Plan battery rotation. Heavy spraying days need enough batteries and charging capacity to keep flying.
- Keep a safe distance from people and animals. Clear the field and mark a take-off zone before spraying.
- Wear protective equipment. Mix and load chemicals with gloves, a mask and eye protection.
- Clean the spray system after use. Flush the tank, pumps and nozzles to prevent clogging and cross-contamination.
- Keep obstacle sensing on. Trees, poles and wires at field edges are the main collision risks.
- Keep records. Log fields, products, doses and flight times for each job.
Warranty and HobiTech support
