1. Rental Agreement:
By renting a drone from HobiTech Drones, you enter into a binding rental agreement with us. Upon successful payment, you gain the right to use the rented drone for the agreed rental period. Ownership of the drone always remains with HobiTech, and you must return it in the same condition as delivered. Please handle drones responsibly and avoid misuse, unsafe operation, or unauthorized modifications.

2. Rental Duration:
Your rental duration will match the period you selected when booking. The return date will be clearly mentioned on your invoice.

• Early Return: No refunds will be issued for early returns.

• Extension Requests: If you need more time, please contact us before the scheduled return date. Extensions will only be approved if the drone is available.

• Late Return: Returning the drone late without prior notice will result in double the standard daily rental rate for the extra time.

3. Payment Policy:
The total payable amount includes:

• Rental Fee – as per your selected plan.

• Refundable Security Deposit – varies by drone model.

• Delivery / Pickup Charges – if applicable.

All payments must be completed before the drone can be used. Payments can be made securely online at checkout or through a payment link provided.

4. Damage & Liability Policy:
All drones are inspected before delivery and upon return. Customers are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period. This includes accidental crashes, water damage, or loss of drone components (e.g., propellers, batteries).

What Counts as Damage?

• Any issue that permanently affects functionality or appearance beyond normal wear and tear.

• Minor scratches or signs of regular use are acceptable.

Damage Charges:

• Repairable Damage: Actual repair service cost + replacement part(s).

• Irreparable Damage / Total Loss: Customer must pay 70–90% of the drone’s current retail value, based on its age. After payment, you may keep the damaged drone.

• Loss or Theft: Customer must pay 70–90% of the drone’s current retail value.

Deposit Deductions

• Security deposits will first be adjusted against any repair/replacement costs.

• If damages exceed the deposit amount, the customer must pay the difference.

5. Security Deposit Refund
Refundable deposits will be processed within 2 business days after the drone is returned, inspected, and verified to be in its original condition.
