Weight and registration: why sub-249 g matters
All three drones fall under 250 g, which is the threshold that keeps a drone in DGCA's Nano category in India — no Remote Pilot Certificate and no UIN registration required for non-commercial flying. This is a big part of why all three exist at this weight: it's the difference between "buy it and fly it" and dealing with paperwork. The Neo 2 is the lightest at 151 g and is built around a palm-launch, controller-optional design — you can throw it in the air and it hovers and tracks you without ever picking up the remote. The Lito 1 and Lito X1 are both traditional folding drones just under the 249 g line, flown with a standard controller.
Camera and image quality
This is where the three separate the most clearly.
- Neo 2: 1/2" CMOS sensor, 4K/100fps slow-motion, 12MP stills. Tuned for fast, hands-free action clips rather than graded footage.
- Lito 1: 4K/60fps, 4K/100fps slow-motion and 2.7K vertical shooting — a well-rounded creator camera aimed at social content.
- Lito X1: the clear step up — a 1/1.3" 48MP sensor with 10-bit D-Log M and 14 stops of dynamic range. This is the only one of the three built for footage you'd actually want to color-grade.
If Instagram and YouTube Shorts are the end goal, the Lito 1 or Neo 2 are plenty. If you're shooting anything you plan to edit seriously — real estate walkthroughs, short films, client work — the Lito X1's sensor and dynamic range are worth the extra ₹13,000 over the Lito 1.
Flight time and batteries
The Lito 1 leads here by a wide margin, rated for up to 52 minutes of flight time on a single battery — among the longest in DJI's sub-250g lineup. The Lito X1 is rated for 36 minutes, trading endurance for its larger sensor and more advanced sensing hardware. The Neo 2's official single-battery time is shorter, but the Fly More Combo's 3 batteries mean you're rarely grounded waiting for a charge — in practice it gives you the most total airtime per box, just split across swaps rather than one long flight.
Obstacle sensing and safety
The Neo 2 and Lito 1 both use omnidirectional vision-based obstacle sensing — cameras around the aircraft detect obstacles and the drone brakes or routes around them. The Lito X1 goes further with omnidirectional LiDAR sensing layered on top of vision, which holds up better in low light and against thin obstacles like wires or branches that vision-only systems can miss. If you're planning to fly near power lines, trees or at dusk, that difference matters.
