Geolux RSS-2-AB water surface velocity measurement kit
K-band radar kit for contactless surface-flow-velocity measurement from a drone, streaming readings ten times per second via SkyHub.
This integrated system uses a surface velocity radar to provide contactless measurement of flow velocity, operating in K-band (24.075–24.175 GHz) and delivering flow-speed readings ten times per second over serial RS-232. Flying the sensor on a UAV makes it possible to take measurements in hard-to-reach places with no existing infrastructure — the entire process is automated via the SkyHub onboard computer and UgCS mission planning software.
The Geolux RSS-2-AB is the airborne version of the ground-based Geolux RSS-2-3000w sensor, and requires the SkyHub onboard computer to log data. SkyHub integration lets it be flown on various drones, including the DJI M350/M300 RTK and Pixhawk-based platforms.
