An electromagnetic impulse (EMI) geophysical instrument for conductive-material detection. The Ebinger VEMOS AIR Mk2 is the successor to the Ebinger UPEX 740M "big loop" metal detector, heavily modified to suit mid-sized drones.
VEMOS AIR detects non-ferrous conductors and smaller objects than magnetometers typically can, though it can't detect deep (>2m) targets or landmines with minimal metal content.
