



SENSYS MagDrone R4 magnetometer
Ultra-light 5-sensor fluxgate array for high-resolution mapping of small, compact UXO and archaeological features.
The MagDrone R4 is an ultra-light magnetometer with 5 triaxial fluxgates, built for any UAV capable of carrying 2 kg of payload. Unlike the MagDrone R3, the R4 is designed for high-resolution mapping to detect small and compact objects and structures in the ground, such as UXO or archaeological features.
As with all magnetometers used to detect artificial objects, the general rule is to fly as low as possible — around 1 m above the surface or lower for UXO search — which means the drone should carry a terrain-following system.
