



SENSYS MagDrone R3 magnetometer
Ultra-portable dual-sensor fluxgate magnetometer with built-in GPS, purpose-built for UXO search and buried-infrastructure mapping.
The MagDrone R3 is an ultra-portable magnetometer that attaches to any UAV with a minimum payload of 1 kg. Units from SN000200 onward have a built-in GPS and can also connect an external one — the second configuration is recommended for better geotagging when the R3 is flown with a SkyHub onboard computer on an RTK-equipped drone.
As with all magnetometers used to detect artificial objects, the general rule is to fly as low as possible — around 1 m above the surface or lower for UXO search — which means the drone should carry a terrain-following system.
