SENSYS MagDrone R1 magnetometer
Ultra-portable fluxgate magnetometer built to fly just centimeters above the ground for UXO detection and buried-metal surveys.
The MagDrone R1 is an ultra-portable magnetometer that attaches to any UAV with a minimum payload of 1 kg. Its unique design allows extremely low surface-to-sensor clearance — down to just a couple of dozen centimeters — and if the sensor touches the ground or vegetation, it will not bring the drone down, which matters when searching for small UXO items in overgrown fields.
A self-foldable sensor mount makes take-off and landing straightforward without demanding extra pilot qualification, unlike sensors flown on suspension cords. The system has no internal data recorder and requires a SkyHub onboard computer with datalogging software to operate.
