Three sub-249 g drones with omnidirectional sensing and 10-bit colour. The Mini 4 Pro sits in the middle on price and at the top on transmission range.

The Mini 4 Pro’s case is the complete package: the same well-proven 48 MP sensor, full omnidirectional sensing, 20 km O4 transmission, and the DJI RC 2 with its own screen included in the combo. It is the most refined of the three to actually use.
The Lito X1 undercuts it by ₹25,000 and adds LiDAR and internal storage, at the cost of half the transmission range and a phone-based controller. The Mini 5 Pro sits above with a 1-inch sensor and adjustable aperture for ₹35,000 more.
The Mini 4 Pro remains the safe recommendation for most buyers who want a serious sub-250 g drone and do not want to think about trade-offs.
At under 249 g takeoff weight, the Mini 4 Pro falls into DGCA’s Nano category (drones under 250 g) under the Drone Rules, 2021.
Nano drones flown for personal, non-commercial use are exempt from UIN registration on eGCA and do not require a Remote Pilot Certificate. That exemption is a large part of why this aircraft is so popular with travelling creators. Commercial flying removes it — registration and certification then apply.
Green, yellow and red zones apply regardless of weight. Roughly 90% of the country is green zone; yellow zones near airports need coordination; red zones are off-limits. Check DigitalSky for your location before you fly.
Keep the drone within visual line of sight, avoid flying over crowds, and stay clear of airports, military installations and international borders.
Obstacle sensing in every direction, on an aircraft light enough to avoid registration. That combination is why the Mini 4 Pro became the default recommendation for travelling creators: it is forgiving enough to fly in unfamiliar places without a spotter’s worth of caution.
A 1/1.3" CMOS at f/1.7 shooting 4K/60 HDR and 10-bit D-Log M. Big enough to hold up in early and late light, and D-Log M means footage that grades rather than one that has to be used as shot.
The gimbal rotates to shoot native vertical 4K instead of cropping a horizontal frame. For anything published to Reels, Shorts or Stories, that preserves full resolution.
DJI O4 with a 20 km range — double the Lito X1’s. Legal flying keeps you within sight, but the extra link margin is what keeps the feed rock solid in built-up areas with interference.
34 minutes standard, up to 45 with Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. Note that Battery Plus pushes some configurations over 249 g in other markets — check the weight of the exact battery you fly if the Nano exemption matters to you.
Mini 4 Pro aircraft, DJI RC 2 controller with built-in screen, three Intelligent Flight Batteries, two-way charging hub, shoulder bag, three pairs of spare propellers, gimbal protector, cables and screwdriver. There is no internal storage, so bring a microSD card.
The Fly More Combo with DJI RC 2 is ₹89,990 at Hobitech, down from ₹1,35,000. GST invoice and warranty included.
Not for personal use. Under 249 g it is Nano category, exempt from UIN registration and from needing a Remote Pilot Certificate. Commercial flying is different.
Yes — omnidirectional vision sensing in all directions, which is the main upgrade over the Mini 3 and Mini 4K.
34 minutes on a standard battery and up to 45 with Battery Plus. Three batteries are included in the combo.
Yes, the DJI RC 2 with a built-in screen. No phone mounting and no drain on your phone battery.
Yes. There is no internal storage, so a microSD card is essential.
Same sensor class and codec. The Mini 4 Pro has double the transmission range and ships with a screen controller; the Lito X1 adds LiDAR and 42 GB internal storage for ₹25,000 less.
Only if a 1-inch sensor and adjustable aperture matter to your work. For most shooting the Mini 4 Pro produces very similar results for ₹35,000 less.
